DRIPPING WITH TASTE!

Camp Lucy is proud to be a sponsor of the upcoming Dripping with Taste Wine and Food Festival on Saturday, September 10, 2011 in Driftwood, Texas. Watching the wine industry grow in our area has been thrilling. We are located near many of the best wineries in the state and look forward to this event where they will come together for one fun day.

Local vineyards have been busily harvesting during the last couple of weeks and will be celebrating soon with grape stomps and crush parties. WestCave Cellars Winery, one of the Dripping with Taste wine vendors located just a half-hour from Camp Lucy, is celebrating the 2011 grape harvest with a Grape Stomp at the winery on Saturday, August 6. Visitors can become a member of the "Purple Feet Club" by jumping into a picking bin to crush the grapes to start making wine. The fun starts at 2:00. The music begins at 5:00. Bring a picnic or enjoy a plate of barbeque and sides for a small donation. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs, sodas, and water. Learn more here.
