Happy First Day Of Spring!
Happy First Day of Spring! Today, March 20, is the vernal equinox, the official first day of spring as the sun moves from south of the celestial equator to north of the equator. The days, which have been getting longer since the winter solstice, now equal the nights in length, which is why it's called the "equinox" — Latin for "equal nights." Or Camp Lucy for "croquet on the great lawn and cocktails al fresco"!
