Biggest Live Oak Tree in Hays County (We've Got the Bragging Rights)!
Guess who has bragging rights to the biggest live oak tree in Hays County? Camp Lucy! Late last year we received this thrilling news from Mr. Bassett with the Hays County Historical Commission. There had been whispers and hopes about the big live oak at the Sacred Oaks ceremony site, but it was not until Mr. Bassett arrived with his fancy tree measuring machine that the good news was confirmed. Is there a bigger live oak in all the county? Possibly. But until Mr. Bassett and his fancy measuring machine find it, we get the bragging rights - we need to get a plaque made fast!
